Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9/18/26

These terms apply to every purchase from NJ Plumbing Prep LLC (“we,” “us,” “NJ Plumbing Prep”) through njplumbingprep.com. By booking a course you agree to them. Please read them before you buy. If anything here is unclear, email us at rhysdavis@njplumbingprep.com before booking.

1. What we are

NJ Plumbing Prep is an independent exam preparation service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the New Jersey State Board of Examiners of Master Plumbers, the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, PSI, or any testing provider. We do not issue licenses, certificates, diplomas, or credentials of any kind. Eligibility to sit the exam is determined by the State Board, not by us, and completing our course does not make you eligible.

2. What you’re buying

Each section (Plumbing Code, Business & Law, Practical) includes: one seat in that section’s live online class during the session you book; access to the online practice exams for that section; a seat in the Review class at the end of the session; and a test-day walkthrough. The Full Course includes all three sections. Each purchase covers one seat in one session. It is personal to you and cannot be shared, resold, or transferred to another person.

3. Live classes

Classes are delivered live online on the dates published for each session. You are responsible for having a working internet connection and a device capable of joining. Classes are not recorded, and you may not record, screenshot, or redistribute any part of a class.

If you miss a class, you are not entitled to a refund, a make-up class, or a recording. You keep your practice exam access and your seat in the Review class. If you want to attend the section class again, you book a new seat in a future session at the current price. If you know in advance that you cannot attend, contact us before the class; at our discretion we may offer a transfer to the next session.

4. If we reschedule a class

We may reschedule a class when necessary. If we do, we’ll give you as much notice as we can and you’ll attend on the new date. If the new date is genuinely impossible for you, contact us before the class and we’ll work something out, which may be a transfer to the next session or, at our discretion, a refund for that section.

5. Practice exams

Practice exams are delivered through a third-party platform (ClassMarker). Your login is created and your exams are assigned when your session begins, so that everyone receives them together with instructions on how to use them. Access runs for one year from the date your exams are assigned. Practice exams are for your personal study only. You may not copy, share, publish, or distribute questions, answers, or any course material.

6. Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel before registration closes for your session, we’ll refund your purchase in full to the original payment method. To cancel, email us from the address you used to book.

After registration closes, purchases are non-refundable. Your practice exam access and Review class seat remain yours.

Refunds are processed within ten business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post them.

7. No guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will pass the exam, and no one can. Your result depends on your preparation, your experience, and the exam itself. Anything on this site describing outcomes or pass rates is informational, not a promise.

8. Materials you provide

Some sections require reference books or a calculator that you purchase separately. Those are listed on each product page and in your confirmation email. We do not sell, ship, or guarantee the availability of third-party materials. The code books are required for the exam itself, independently of our course.

9. Your conduct

You agree to treat the instructor and other students with respect. We may remove any student who is disruptive, abusive, or attempting to record or distribute course material, without refund.

10. Our content

All course material, including class content, practice exams, handouts, and the content of this website, is owned by NJ Plumbing Prep LLC and protected by copyright. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own exam preparation and nothing else.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost wages, exam fees, travel costs, or the cost of retaking an exam.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book is the one that applies to your purchase.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of New Jersey.
